He is the son
\nwho puts his anger aside
\nand brave\u00adly choos\u00ades to wear a flight suit
\njust like his father wore.
\nShe is the daugh\u00adter
\nwho helps her moth\u00ader to cope
\nwhen\u00adev\u00ader they think of
\nthe wed\u00adding ring
\nthat was nev\u00ader found
\nin all the fields of Texas.
\n
\nThey are the hus\u00adbands and wives
\nand moth\u00aders and fathers
\nand sib\u00adlings, rel\u00ada\u00adtives and friends
\nwho lost their most cher\u00adished one,
\nthe col\u00adleagues and boss\u00ades
\nwho lost a part of their soul,
\nyet they believe more than ever
\nthat the explo\u00adrations of the heav\u00adens
\nmust still go on.<\/p>\n

They are the thou\u00adsands of good peo\u00adple,
\nthose hum\u00adble vol\u00adun\u00adteers
\nwho searched in the fields for the fall\u00aden
\nfor cold rainy weeks on end,
\nthe ones who still gath\u00ader each year
\nto hon\u00ador
\nthose that were lost
\nand the human spir\u00adit.<\/p>\n

So, who are they real\u00adly?
\nWho are the heroes?<\/p>\n

They pick them\u00adselves up
\nin the low\u00adest of times,
\nfrom out of the rub\u00adble,
\nand they vow
\nto not sim\u00adply mud\u00addle through
\neach remain\u00ading day of their lives,
\nbut instead to soar
\nnobly, in trib\u00adute,
\njust as the heroes before them did soar.<\/p>\n

That is their essence.
\nThose are the heroes.<\/p>\n
